I would definitely rate the legibility of the bottom sign higher. The new font is slightly smaller. Can we amend this easily by, say, rasterizing the new font at a slightly bigger resolution?
Legibility can be a big problem for Minetest at sub-1080 resolutions and I would like to think better legibility would help by making more users actually read signs (especially ones that contain important information like the rules) or quickly recognise sign text in their bases.
