IntelliJ 2016.3:

  1. For large repos, git integration has severe performance impact. Ticket and workaround here

  2. If you previously have Gradle and Groovy plugins disabled, they are now REQUIRED to run Pants Tests. JetBrains shuffled a few components around internally, so some landed in those plugins.

  3. 2016.3 uses the native Mac finder for path input. If you do not like this, there is a workaround. Details are tracked upstream.

  4. Minor issue observed in 2016.3 new feature "Run Recent Tests" that it does not show past Pants Tests.
