Hi maintainers — first of all, thank you for this project. It’s an amazing app that I installed immediately at first glance. Not only is the UI design excellent, but the core idea—port management—also alleviates the pain of relying on the more primitive lsof -nPi.
The current icon
- Recognizability: The primary/secondary colors give the app a distinctive appearance. The plug also fits the functionality. However, in my view, the “X” overlapped on the icon can convey notions like disabled, abandoned, or deprecated. This impression is even stronger when it appears in the menu bar—it can make the app look inactive:

- Concept: An “off” electric switch inside an Ethernet port
- Goals: The idea is straightforward: the switch suggests connection management, while the Ethernet port indicates the managed objects—network ports.
- Note: Both icons were generated by Google Banana for illustration purposes.
