Plans to include docstrings?

Are there plans to include functions' docstrings?

Currently i have no such plans, one would need to write a script to extract them from somewhere, i guess pygi doc gen could be used, but sounds like a lot of work.

By the way, you can construct XPath while running _gi_build_stub and extract detailed docstrings directly from .gir files.
