May as well not bother with the GHA checks if a file doesn't pass basic syntax validation.
Apparently, despite that the macOS runner on GitHub comes with Homebrew preinstalled, it doesn't put the bin directory on the shell $PATH by default.

GitHub Actions workflows are YAML files, so they will get checked by yamllint for basic syntax, but there are a number of other things that can be checked using more specialized validation programs.
