memoryview error with snATAC pre #8

Hello,
I am trying to process the data. I am getting this error when using snATAC pre:
File "/home//anaconda3.4.3/lib/python3.6/gzip.py", line 260, in write
data = memoryview(data)
TypeError: memoryview: a bytes-like object is required, not 'str'
