GAAP or Normalized EPS related data #2995

current yfinance version: 1.7.0
I am looking to retrieve GAAP and/or Normalized EPS data specifically for Earnings Estimate, Earnings History, EPS Trend, and EPS Revisions.
for example in the "NORMALIZED" Earnings Estimate for AMZN in yahoo finance are as follows
Normalized
Currency in USD Current Qtr. (Sep 2026) Next Qtr. (Dec 2026) Current Year (2026) Next Year (2027)
Avg. Estimate 1.98 2.41 8.31 10.48
however, if I run
sym = 'AMZN'
stock_ticker = yf.Ticker(sym)
stock_ticker.earnings_estimate
the results are
avg
period
0q 1.95
+1q 2.44
0y 12.89
+1y 10.53
as you can see those data are differents
could you please add an parameters to select to get GAAP or normalized EPS related data?
