⚠️ The 2026 ruleset is currently under development. This repository will be updated as rules progress is made.

This repository contains the sources of the rule book for the RoboCup -- Humanoid Soccer League. The main document is Rules.tex.

It should be regarded as an insight into the rule book's development process, but not as a normative document. There is no guarantee that changes made in this version will actually appear in the final rule book.

Official Rules

The official rule book releases can be found on (TBA).

Contribute

Pull requests should follow the following guidelines:

1. Changes should focus on a single particular issue such as adjusting a rule or improving the structure.
2. It should introduce only the changes necessary to adress this specific issue and if possible only affect an isolated block of text.
3. If a refactoring of the structure is needed that touches several sections, then the changes should not change the meaning of the text being restructured.

Warning

DO NOT include a new Rules.pdf in your Pull Request (because it is likely result in a conflict). The Rules.pdf will be automatically generated and committed to the main branch after the Pull Request is merged.
