Blog post introducing the Cycles Admin Dashboard

Scenario-driven, not feature-driven. Leads with three production pain points:

  1. Agent burns through risk budget — overview alerts → drill into RISK_POINTS budget → credit funds in 30 seconds
  2. Compromised API key — audit investigation → revoke → create replacement → one-time secret reveal
  3. Webhook delivery failing silently — test connectivity → fix URL → replay missed events

Framed around runtime authority (cost + risk), not just dashboard features. The dashboard is the proof, not the pitch.

Assets

  • 5 screenshots from live dashboard with seeded production-like data (12 tenants, 42 budgets, 4 unit types including RISK_POINTS)
  • ~1100 words
  • SEO keywords: AI agent budget control, risk governance, admin dashboard, runtime authority

Files

  • blog/ai-agent-governance-admin-dashboard-monitor-control-budgets-risk.md
  • public/images/dashboard/*.png (5 screenshots)

Scenario-driven blog post covering three production workflows:
1. Agent burns through risk budget — overview alerts, fund dialog
2. Compromised API key — audit investigation, revoke + create
3. Webhook delivery failing — test, fix, replay

- Description: "changes the game" → "addresses each one"
- Remove unverified "under 30 seconds" timing claim
- Remove "doesn't care" casual phrasing
- Remove "these aren't toy examples" defensive framing
- Remove "seeded environment" fourth-wall break
- Remove "deserve an ops UI" tagline
- Remove unverified "active reservations can still commit" claim
- Narrow freeze description to spec-supported behavior only
- Replace sales-page checklist with single summary paragraph
- "every admin endpoint" → "core admin workflows"
- Frontmatter title optimized for SEO: includes "AI Agent Governance
Dashboard" + key terms. H1 kept as reader-friendly hook.
Major additions:
- "Read-only dashboards aren't enough" section: Grafana vs Retool vs
purpose-built governance UI. Teaches the pattern (write actions with
safety rails, secret lifecycle, resource-level audit, capability
gating) — useful even for non-Cycles readers.
- "What we learned building this" section: three genuine insights
(risk/cost same surface, destructive action friction, resource ID
filtering). Shows thinking, not just features.
- Closing gives value to all readers: "Design for the 2am case, not
the demo" — applies whether you use Cycles or not.
- Tightened description, added SEO keywords (Grafana, Retool).
- Removed thin "at scale" section, integrated demo context into
  "try it" naturally.
