Add a list of our papers

We should list all of our SunPy papers somewhere. This is not a duplicate of #339, which is about papers that use SunPy.

Should package specific papers be in the docs for those packages?

I feel like having a central location of all the "project" papers would be a good thing?

The idea is to create a new webpage that has all of the papers that have been published by the sunpy project about the libraries it has.

Some of them have been linked in this issue. We do not want to store any of the papers.

I mean in general sure, but we use a specific system for the sunpy website that is stored in this repository.

Hi! @nabobalis , @ayshih and @Cadair I'm interested in working with this issue. I plan to create a papers.md file in the /about directory and link the ADS papers mentioned above. Does that still align with the project's goals?

I wanted to follow up on this as I’ve been very excited to contribute to the SunPy project!

So, I’ve gone ahead and put together a draft implementation in PR #483. I made sure to include the core SunPy papers (2015–2023) and the NDCube citations discussed in the comments above.

I used .rst for the file format to stay consistent with your existing documentation structure. Please let me know if there are any other papers you'd like me to add or if you have any feedback on the layout—I’m more than happy to make adjustments!
