While similar to #38, a directory would function as simple list, rather than a list generated according to some server algorithm. These would likely have quite different UI in a client.

A threadiverse type server could list all Forum categories (or Group actors) for example.

are these three different user-stories? or is it a general requirement that these three collection types (and maybe others like them) should be available to the client for enumeration? does enumeration have to be composable (getting into QL there) or are you asking specifically for a "getAll(X)" type function?
