Summary of Changes

Hello @localvar, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request resolves a CI pipeline issue by making minor adjustments to how return values from shared storage management functions are handled. Specifically, it introduces explicit (void) casts for tssUninit() and tssCloseDefaultInstance() calls, which signals to the compiler that their return values are intentionally not being used. This change is a targeted fix to suppress compiler warnings without altering the functional behavior of the shared storage checks.

Highlights

  • CI Issue Resolution: Addressed a continuous integration (CI) issue related to return value checks by explicitly casting the return values of tssUninit() and tssCloseDefaultInstance() to (void).
  • Return Value Handling: Modified calls to tssUninit() and tssCloseDefaultInstance() within dmCheckSs() to explicitly ignore their return values, preventing potential compiler warnings about unused results.

Code Review

This pull request addresses CI warnings by explicitly ignoring the return values of tssUninit and tssCloseDefaultInstance. While ignoring the return value of tssUninit is safe as it always returns success, tssCloseDefaultInstance can return an error. I've added a suggestion to handle this error case to provide a more complete status to the caller.
