Jira Plugin Fails to Activate After Upgrade to Jira 11.3.1 Due to Signature Error #1503

Description

Description:
After upgrading our Jira instance to version 11.3.1, the Jira plugin stopped working and can no longer be activated. Jira blocks the plugin due to a missing or invalid digital signature for the jira-server-plugin. An attempt was made to manually upload plugin version 41.5.15, but the installation failed with a file signature error. The user is asking whether a valid digital signature is available and requests help resolving the issue.

Environment:

Jira Datacenter: v11.3.1
Jira Universal Plugin Manager: v8.0.6

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Upgrade Jira Datacenter to version 11.3.1.
  2. Open Jira Universal Plugin Manager.
  3. Attempt to activate the existing Jira plugin.
  4. Alternatively, try to upload plugin version 41.5.15 manually.

Actual Result:

  • Plugin activation is blocked by Jira.
  • Plugin upload fails with the error: “Signature check failed.”

Expected Result:

The Jira plugin should be successfully activated or installed after the Jira upgrade, provided it is compatible with the new version.
