Learning business intelligence basics in 2026 and dashboarding.

This repo contains training materials for practicing the essentials of business intelligence.

Keep in mind, this repository is built with a focus on essential BI learning in a short period. The contents are designed to help practitioners materialize their learning through a role-playing approach.

Step 1 : Preparation

Read the BI Process Overview, this gives a brief overview of the BI process from start to end.

Scan the links for this information and links for this repo.

Step 2 : Practice

In each subfolder under contents contains prompts or assets for role-playing the involved expertise part of the process. The point of role-playing practice is to learn the process in an interactive approach with actual players. This gives opportunity for practice all the non-technical part of BI, and business management.

Step 3: Check

After practice use the checklist to verify if all essentials are covered to deliver a high confidence end product.

Step 4: Final Project

Apply what you've learned to create a complete Power BI dashboard. Use the prompts in each subfolder as guides, and refer to the dashboard development prompt for the final build.
