Hey, I'm Vyas.

Senior Backend Engineer. I build AI-powered platforms, distributed systems, and HPC tooling.

Currently the sole engineer at Nyayanidhi — solo-architected an AI legal document processing platform on GCP serverless. Before that: HPC cluster automation at LRZ (1000+ nodes, InfiniBand, SLURM), scaled fintech infra at Fiserv (3M users, US Treasury stimulus program), and upstream contributions to GNOME.

What I've built

  • Nyayanidhi Platform — Full backend (FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, GCP Cloud Run), 7-phase document pipeline processing 500+ PDFs in <10 min, multi-agent contract drafting, LLM infrastructure with prompt caching
  • Matrix Profiling on Cerebras CS-2 — Ported SCAMP to the Wafer-Scale Engine, benchmarked non-AI workloads on massively parallel hardware
  • Jacobi Solver on EPYC Cluster — NUMA-aware AVX-512 intrinsics across 1000+ nodes, MPI/OpenMP hybrid parallelism
  • Reliable UDP in Rust — Custom transport protocol with MTU negotiation and packet-drop recovery (Tokio, async I/O)
  • GNOME Music — 14+ upstream commits to the GNOME desktop music player
