`ADMINER_DEFAULT_DB_HOST` not working anymore since 5.4.2?

Adminer no longer shows the ADMINER_DEFAULT_DB_HOST defined in docker-compose.yml on the Login page, instead tries to use default localhost:

My docker-compose wasn't updated in many weeks, but since the recent wodby/adminer update to adminer 5.4.2 it stopped working.
