This PR resolves issue #13837 by removing the trailing slash from the $XDG_RUNTIME_DIR environment variable. The XDG_RUNTIME_DIR path is changed from /run/user/{uid}/ to /run/user/{uid}, which aligns with the XDG Base Directory specification that directory paths should not have trailing slashes.
