…Claude Mem summary (#963) * fix(dispatch-cli): fetch grok Hindsight pages from a stashing 0.8.1 hook Hindsight coding-agents 0.8.1 (vectorize-io/hindsight#5514) no longer prints grok's prompt context: it stashes it and hands it out on the next PostToolUse. The prefetch read only the prompt hook's stdout, so every dispatched grok review silently ran without Hindsight pages. When the prompt call returns no context, the prefetch now sends a PostToolUse event with the same session id and takes the context from that reply. TMPDIR points at the prefetch's own temp dir, so the stash files are removed with it instead of piling up in /tmp. The 0.8.0 direct-output shape still works. Read-only dispatches, both review launchers and the litmus Opus backstop already drop per-tool observations; they now also end without a session summary, so a review writes nothing to Claude Mem while its session-start context still loads. --mode auto is untouched. Fixes several ways memory failed to reach the agent in
hindsight-integrations/coding-agents.autoInject: "recall"query is now cut to fit the server's 500-token limit. Non-ASCII text is counted by its UTF-8 bytes, which is always an upper bound. Plain ASCII keeps about 1000 characters. Long or CJK prompts no longer get an HTTP 400 and lose their memory. coding-agents: configurable auto-inject query length and an optional query pre-processing step #5089 asks for this as a config option. No option is added here, but the hard failure it describes is fixed.usage.jsonlis now written even withretainSessions: false, on both the Stop hook and the plugin runtime. Nothing is retained. Part 1 (the injection timeout) was already fixed by fix(coding-agents): make automatic injection timeout configurable #4853.additionalContextfrom tool hooks #5467: Grok Build only shows the model context that comes from tool hooks. The grok-build SessionStart and prompt hooks now save their context, and a newPostToolUsehook (the samegrok-hook.jsentry) delivers it once with the next tool result. Other harnesses are unchanged.Not changed:
